Being Atlanta’s premiere antique store means we’re REALLY into “vintage,” but when it comes to pet adoptions, “vintage” isn’t always as ‘sought after” as “new,” as in puppies and kittens. So we wanted to show off our outdoor patio and all its finds, but also to give some four-legged friends looking for new homes (just as our merchandise is). So we threw our first-ever “Vintage Pets’ Patio Party” Friday, August 9th, complete with full-grown adoptable dogs from One Paw at a Time Animal Rescue and Lifeline Animal Project.
While we didn’t have any on-site adoptions, we did make some money with our “silent auction,” raising hundreds to go to our two paw-tner organizations and made some new friends & customers throughout the day. We really enjoyed having our customers bring their dogs in for the event, too!
